Chickenfoot, a compilation of artists from several hot bands, has been called a rock supergroup.

Chickenfoot has just released a new self-titled album on June 5, 2009.
The first time Chickenfoot performed together was in February 2008 at a Sammy Hagar concert in Las Vegas. The three song set they did included: Traffic's "Dear Mr. Fantasy" and Led Zepplin's "Rock and Roll." Chad Smith, their phenomenal drummer, has been called the "glue" that holds Chickenfoot together.
